The pictures below show
some of the jobs that BEATEYE LTD have been called to as a result
of other peoples poor workmanship or lack of maintenance. They show
why all installations should be properly installed and maintained
by registered professionals such as BEATEYE LTD.
This
photograph shows a copper pipe that had pinholed due to flux being
left on the pipe when it was installed (Bad installation practice).
The same installer was called back to the job when it became to leak.Instead
of cutting out and replacing the pipe, a crude copper patch was fitted
over the hole, which leaked again over a few days. Beateye was called
in to carry out a professional repair to the system. This is another
fault that could have been avoided completely with a competent installer.
The
70mm Copper Pipe in this photo should have benn inserted 40mm into
the fitting before soldering but was only inserted 2mm and soldered
- bad workmanship can be avoided by using a professional accredited
company. The cheapest price often means the cheapest work!!.
Poor
installation work here means that your systems are down for longer,
a correct installation initially would have saved both time and money.
This
Calorifier needed attention before it was damaged beyond repair.
A
poorly maintained system means that the system will not function correctly.
A regular service would save both time and money. A water softening
system or scale reducing system would have prevented the excessive
build up of Limescale in the pipe work, the water heaters and hot
water outlets which is very costly to remove once formed.
